2012 Has Been a Very Good Year for Me
It has been a great year, blogging friends! I wrote some blog posts that are still being viewed every day like Tolkien’s 10 Tips for Writers and my Scrivener “how to” posts. This year I met tons of new friends on the blog that I wouldn’t have met staying in my own little corner of the world as a writer. I finished my novel This Broken Earth. I also sent out a plethora of query letters and received back a response that was unexpected: a positive one. Needless to say, I will have to postpone my print release of my novel through CreatSpace until I hear back from said literary agent. She is reading my book as we speak to see if it is something she can work with.
In the next few weeks I will be posting about the results of my positive response from a literary agent, but until then have a happy new year and here’s to great things happening in 2013!
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:
19,000 people fit into the new Barclays Center to see Jay-Z perform. This blog was viewed about 58,000 times in 2012. If it were a concert at the Barclays Center, it would take about 3 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
